The weekend will be marked by a foehn trend, a turbulent wind coming from Italy. Its variable intensity will need to be assessed daily.
- Today: Persistent foehn wind, especially towards the end of the day. Cloudy sky on the Italian side. Paragliding in Chamonix will not be possible.
- Sunday: Mostly sunny day. A southeast wind, which could still generate foehn, will need to be monitored. Flights will be confirmed on the day itself based on weather beacons.
- Monday: A new foehn episode seems to be approaching and will need to be confirmed on the day itself. Despite some cloud cover, the day is expected to be mostly sunny. Tandem paragliding in Chamonix will depend on wind intensity.
- Tuesday and following days: The wind finally seems to be weakening. Until Thursday, good weather will prevail despite a drop in temperatures. Conditions should be favorable for paragliding.
